The Domino Gx350i is the advanced model in the Gx-Series of thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers, for complex, high-speed lines that need multi-printhead control and fast data transfer. It runs up to four printheads from a single IP64-rated stainless controller, with printheads mounted up to 25m away, so one unit can code several positions or stitch heads together for tall messages. A 10-inch touchscreen keeps operation simple, and the same maintenance-free cartridge model as the rest of the range keeps running costs predictable.

What is the Gx350i for?

It is the model for demanding coding: multiple lines or sides coded at once, tall stitched messages, and tight synchronisation with factory automation. Its EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP fieldbus options suit motion-control and high-speed lines in food and beverage, pharmaceutical and industrial settings, and it carries the 21 CFR Part 11 compliance regulated lines require.

Key features

Up to four printheads from one controller. Code several positions or different sides of a product at once, or stitch heads for message heights up to 50.8mm with standard printheads, or 104.3mm with EXT printheads.

IP64 stainless controller. Rated for dusty and wet environments where a standard controller would struggle.

Fast factory integration. EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP fieldbus options give precise data transfer and synchronisation with PLCs and motion-control systems.

Uptime and compliance. AutoSwap in-run cartridge changes, optional Bulk Ink for long runs, and a 21 CFR Part 11 audit trail with user administration.

Which Domino coder is right for you?

The Gx350i is the advanced, multi-head TIJ choice. If you only need one or two printheads and a simpler controller, the Gx150i does the job for less; if you need built-in vision verification of every code, look at the Gx-Series PRO. Where the substrate is varied or harsh, a continuous inkjet coder may fit better, and for permanent, ink-free marking see laser coding.

Frequently asked questions

How many printheads can the Gx350i run?

Up to four from a single controller, for coding multiple positions or sides at once, or stitching for tall messages up to 104.3mm with EXT printheads.

Is it suitable for dusty or wet lines?

Yes. The controller is IP64-rated stainless steel for dusty and wet environments.

Can it integrate with motion control and PLCs?

Yes. EtherCAT and Ethernet/IP fieldbus options give fast, precise synchronisation with factory automation.
