The Domino Ax130i is the entry point to the Ax-Series, a straightforward continuous inkjet (CIJ) coder for businesses that need clear, reliable dates and batch codes without paying for features they will not use. It runs the same i-Pulse printhead as the rest of the range, so the codes are sharp and consistent, but it keeps the specification simple: up to four print lines, a clean QuickStep touchscreen, and a service-free design that keeps running costs low. It is the right choice for everyday coding on standard food, beverage and packaging lines.

What is the Ax130i for?

It is built for simple, high-volume coding where the job is dates, batch numbers and basic traceability rather than complex 2D codes at the highest speeds. Typical homes are a bottling or packaging line in food and beverage production, or any standard line that needs a dependable coder that staff can run with minimal training. Reliable codes from the i-Pulse printhead. The i-Pulse printhead controls the formation of each ink drop, so codes stay clear and legible from the first product of the day to the last, without constant adjustment.

Which Ax-Series model is right for you?

The Ax130i is the simplest of the four. Step up to the Ax150i if you need a fifth print line, a little more speed and a stackable design; to the Ax350i for IP66 protection, higher speed and Industry 4.0 connectivity; or to the Ax550i for the most aggressive caustic washdown. If your codes are dense barcodes on porous cartons, a Gx-Series thermal inkjet may suit better, and for permanent, ink-free marking look at laser coding. It has an IP55 stainless cabinet for everyday industrial conditions. For intensive caustic washdown, choose the IP66 Ax350i or the 316 marine-grade Ax550i.
