The Domino Dx660i is the high-power model in the Dx-Series of CO2 laser coders, a 60W, consumable-free coder for the most demanding, high-speed production lines. The high-power source delivers permanent code quality at industry-leading speeds and handles larger, complex codes for serialisation and traceability, so it suits high-volume manufacturing that cannot trade speed for quality. As with the rest of the range, there are no inks or solvents, so codes are durable and running costs stay low.

What is the Dx660i for?

It is the model for the fastest lines and the toughest substrates: high-speed beverage lines, and marking on challenging materials such as glass, PET and flexible films like polypropylene and aluminium where lower-power lasers can struggle. It is also built for future traceability: smart 2D coding on cardboard and GS1 serialisation, which makes it a fit for pharmaceutical and regulated lines and for the GS1 Sunrise 2027 shift to 2D codes.

Key features

60W for industry-leading speed. The high-power source delivers outstanding code quality at the highest line speeds, so even large, complex codes do not slow production.

Marks tough substrates. The power produces pin-sharp permanent codes on glass, PET and flexible films where lesser lasers falter, with gentle algorithms that keep sustainable-packaging barriers intact.

Ready for GS1 2D serialisation. Suited to smart 2D coding on cardboard and GS1 Sunrise initiatives, unlocking variable data for authentication and anti-counterfeiting.

Built for the line and the factory. Laser module IP54 (optional IP65), controller IP55, up to 45 degrees Celsius at 100 percent duty, with web interface, Ethernet/EtherNet/IP, Domino Cloud and MES/ERP integration.

Which Domino coder is right for you?

The Dx660i (60W) is the top of the laser range, for the fastest lines, the toughest substrates and GS1 2D serialisation. If you do not need that power, the Dx360i (30W) covers high-speed lines for less, and the Dx260i (20W) suits standard lines and beverage PET. For metal marking, choose the F-Series fibre laser. The honest rule is to buy the power the line genuinely needs, not the biggest by default.

Frequently asked questions

What makes the Dx660i suitable for high-speed lines?

A 60W laser source delivers code quality at industry-leading speeds, ideal for fast beverage and high-volume production.

Is it ready for GS1 Sunrise 2D coding?

Yes. It is suited to smart 2D coding on cardboard and to GS1 serialisation and traceability.

What substrates can it handle?

Glass, PET, flexible films such as polypropylene and aluminium, and cardboard, including tough materials that lower-power lasers struggle with.
