The Domino Gx-Series PRO is a high-performance thermal inkjet (TIJ) printhead that upgrades the Gx150i and Gx350i for high-quality 2D coding. It prints high-contrast, GS1-compliant QR and Data Matrix codes at up to 1200dpi, over a larger print area and at high line speeds, which is exactly what retail and supply-chain packaging now demands. As the GS1 Sunrise move to 2D codes gathers pace, the PRO printhead is how you bring point-of-sale-ready 2D codes onto your existing Gx-Series line.

What is the Gx-Series PRO for?

It is for producers adopting variable-data 2D codes, QR and Data Matrix, that must grade well, scan reliably and carry enough data for pricing, deposit-return schemes, expiry control and recalls. The PRO printhead delivers the resolution and optical density those codes need, on porous and non-porous packaging, and it is well suited to food and beverage production. A built-in printhead heater keeps performance reliable in chilled environments, and the ink is food-packaging compliant, so it fits cold-chain and food lines that standard printheads can struggle with.
