The Domino Dx260i is the entry point to the Dx-Series of CO2 laser coders, a 20W, consumable-free coder that marks permanent codes straight onto your product or packaging with a beam of light. There is no ink or solvent, so there are no consumable costs or mess, and the code cannot be smudged or rubbed off. It is the right choice for clean, permanent coding on materials like PET, glass, paper and cardboard, and is a common fit for beverage lines and labelling machinery.
What is the Dx260i for?
It suits lines that want permanent, ink-free marks at standard-to-good speeds: high-speed coding on PET bottles in beverage production, gentle marking on modern paper-based food wrappers that keeps the protective barrier intact, and high-precision coding integrated into labelling machinery. Where the line is faster or the substrates tougher, the 30W Dx360i and 60W Dx660i step up from here.
Key features
Permanent, consumable-free coding. The CO2 laser marks by ablation or colour change, so codes are durable and there are no inks, solvents or make-up to buy, store or clean up.
Flexible mounting. A 360-degree rotatable scanhead and more than 50 beam-delivery options let the laser mount in almost any orientation for the right code placement.
Built for the line. The laser module is IP54 (optional IP65) and the controller IP55, rated to run at up to 45 degrees Celsius at 100 percent duty, so it holds up in dusty, wet and sticky conditions.
Industry 4.0 ready. A web-based interface, Ethernet and EtherNet/IP, Domino Cloud monitoring and R-Series vision integration let it sit cleanly in an automated line.

Which Domino coder is right for you?
Within the laser range, the Dx260i (20W) is the entry choice; step up to the Dx360i (30W) for higher line speeds and tougher substrates, or the Dx660i (60W) for the fastest lines and GS1 2D serialisation. If you need to mark metal, the F-Series fibre laser is the tool. If laser is not the right method at all, our guides to continuous inkjet and thermal inkjet explain when ink suits better. We will tell you honestly which one fits your line.
Frequently asked questions
What can the Dx260i mark?
Permanent codes on PET, glass, paper and cardboard, with no ink or solvent. It is especially suited to beverage PET and paper-based wrappers.
Does it need consumables?
No. A CO2 laser is consumable-free, with no ink or make-up fluid, which removes consumable cost and mess.
How is it mounted on a line?
A 360-degree rotatable scanhead and more than 50 beam-delivery options let it mount in almost any orientation for the right code placement.
