The Domino Dx360i is the high-speed model in the Dx-Series of CO2 laser coders, a 30W, consumable-free coder built for fast production lines. The extra power over the entry 20W Dx260i means faster marking and better performance on demanding substrates, so the coder keeps clear, permanent codes flowing at high line speed without becoming a bottleneck. There are no inks or solvents, so codes are durable and running costs stay low.

What is the Dx360i for?

It is the model for high-throughput lines, fast bottling, canning and packaging, where you need permanent marks and sharp 2D codes at speed. Its 30W source handles more challenging substrates than a lower-power laser, and its digital scanhead keeps complex data-matrix codes and graphics legible at full rate, which suits food and beverage, pharmaceutical and general manufacturing lines.

Key features

30W for high-speed marking. The higher-power source marks faster and copes with tougher substrates than the entry model, protecting line speed and overall equipment effectiveness.

Sharp 2D codes at speed. An advanced digital scanhead and optimised algorithms keep complex 2D data-matrix codes and graphics precise at the highest rates.

Built for the line. Laser module IP54 (optional IP65), controller IP55, rated to 45 degrees Celsius at 100 percent duty for dusty, wet and sticky conditions.

Industry 4.0 ready. Web-based interface, Ethernet and EtherNet/IP, Domino Cloud monitoring and R-Series vision integration for an automated line.

Which Domino coder is right for you?

The Dx360i (30W) is the high-speed middle of the laser range. If your line is slower or your substrates straightforward, the Dx260i (20W) does the job for less; for the fastest lines, the toughest substrates and GS1 2D serialisation, step up to the Dx660i (60W). For metal marking, see the F-Series fibre laser. If ink is the better method, our guides to continuous inkjet and thermal inkjet set out when each fits.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Dx360i different from the Dx260i?

It uses a 30W laser source against the Dx260i’s 20W, giving faster marking and better performance on demanding substrates at high line speeds.

Can it mark 2D data-matrix codes at speed?

Yes. Its digital scanhead and optimised algorithms keep sharp 2D codes and graphics at high throughput.

Is it consumable-free?

Yes. As a CO2 laser it uses no inks or solvents, so there are no consumable costs.
