What the ZT600 Series is for
The ZT600 Series is Zebra’s heavy-duty industrial tier, the successor to the long-running Xi Series, for the highest-volume, most demanding production and distribution lines. It is the printer you choose when downtime is not an option and the label has to be perfect every time: all-metal construction for 24/7 running, the broadest feature set of any Zebra stationary printer, and two formats. The 4-inch ZT610 prints down to 600 dpi for micro labels as small as 3 mm high (circuit boards, chips, components); the ZT620 takes media up to 6 inches wide for large shipping and compliance labels. It anchors the high end of the labelling and barcoding and warehouse automation setups Sirap builds.
Who it is for
High-volume Maltese manufacturing, logistics and distribution operations that run labels around the clock, need very fine micro-label printing (ZT610) or wide labels (ZT620), or want robust RFID at scale. For lighter or mid-range duty, the ZT400 or ZT231 are more proportionate, and we will say so rather than oversize the printer.
Built to perform and last
24/7 in harsh conditions. Heavy-gauge all-metal structural components are engineered for continuous use for years, and built-in thermal management without vents or cooling fans keeps dust and debris out for trouble-free printing on a dirty floor.
Micro-precise quality (ZT610). Precise registration and print-line adjustment with a 600 dpi option produce clean codes on labels as small as 3 mm, for circuit boards, chips and miniature components, without wasting expensive media.
Wide-format option (ZT620). Media up to 6 inches wide handles large shipping, pallet and compliance labels on the same proven platform.
Long-life printheads. Designed to reduce replacement cost and downtime, with a quick-change easy-in/easy-out printhead socket for fast maintenance.
Easy to run day to day
Status you can read across the room. A colour display (or optional 4.3in colour touchscreen) turns red on an error, and guided media paths change colour to show exactly where a problem is, so an operator resolves it fast.
Simple media handling. Side-loading media, colour-coded touch points, an interior cabinet light and single-knob sensor adjustment cut training time and keep the printer up.
Help on the printer. QR codes link to error-specific help videos, so minor issues are fixed without calling support.
Managed, secure and future-ready
Fleet management built in. Print DNA powered by Link-OS gives browser-based monitoring (Printer Profile Manager Enterprise), MDM connectors for SOTI and AirWatch, and encrypted Link-OS Cloud Connect to on-premise or cloud servers.
Adapts in the field. Two open communication slots and bulkhead-connector media-handling options let you add 802.11ac, Ethernet, parallel, applicator interface and media handling without replacing the printer, and two USB host ports connect peripherals.
RFID when you need it. Optional advanced UHF RFID encoding is easy to install and use, for track-and-trace at production scale.

What is in scope from Sirap
A printer at this tier is specified, not picked off a shelf. We confirm the model, resolution and options for your real volume, label size and environment, supply genuine Zebra media and ribbons, configure connectivity and fleet management, set up and verify RFID where fitted, and support it locally with service and a spare-pool option so a 24/7 line stays running.
Often paired with
- Genuine Zebra labels and ribbons, including specialty media for harsh or micro-label applications.
- Zebra rugged scanners and mobile computers on the same line.
- An Eaton UPS so a high-volume line is never cut mid-print.
Which Zebra printer is right for you?
The ZT600 is the heavy-duty, highest-capability tier. Choose the ZT610 for fine micro labels and the ZT620 for wide media. If you run mid-range volumes, the ZT400 is the proportionate step down; for lighter or entry industrial use, the ZT231 or ZT111. Tell us your volume, label size and environment and we will recommend honestly.
Frequently asked questions
ZT610 or ZT620?
Choose the ZT610 (4-inch, up to 600 dpi) for standard-width labels and high-precision or micro-label printing; choose the ZT620 for media up to 6 inches wide, such as large shipping and pallet labels. Both share the same heavy-duty platform.
Is the ZT600 overkill for us?
Possibly. It is built for round-the-clock, high-volume production. If you do not run at that intensity, the ZT400 or ZT231 will cost less and serve you well, and we will tell you when that is the better call.
Does it support RFID and fleet management?
Yes. RFID is an option on both models, and Print DNA with Link-OS provides browser-based fleet management plus SOTI and AirWatch integration. We configure both as part of the deployment.
