What the DS3600 is for

The DS3600 Series is Zebra’s ultra-rugged scanner family, built for the punishment of manufacturing and warehouse work: harsh conditions, awkward and damaged labels, and the need for full-shift power. It reads codes that are far away, dirty, damaged or under shrinkwrap, and keeps fleets running with real-time analytics. It anchors the industrial end of the warehouse automation and labelling and barcoding setups Sirap builds.

Who it is for

Maltese manufacturing and logistics operations that need a scanner to survive drops, dust, water and temperature extremes and still read difficult codes at range. For retail and POS use, the DS2200 or DS8100 are the right tools; for hands-free counters, the DS9300.

Over 100,000 scans per charge. The PowerPrecision+ battery gives more than twice the scans of competitors, with a State of Health meter to spot tiring batteries before they fail.

Switch workflows instantly. AutoConfig stores settings in the cradle, so pairing to a different base reconfigures the scanner for a new host, for example moving from the forklift to shipping.

Never lose a scanner. Virtual Tether alerts when a scanner leaves range or the cradle, preventing one being left on a pallet.

Wi-Fi friendly. Wi-Fi Friendly Mode eliminates Bluetooth interference with your WLAN.

Unrivalled manageability

Connect to Industrial Ethernet. Network Connect for Automation links DS3600 scanners to a manufacturer’s Industrial Ethernet network without third-party converters, reducing complexity and vulnerability.

Analytics and remote management. ScanSpeed Analytics flags poor barcodes, 123Scan and Scanner Management Service (SMS) configure and update remotely, and Remote Diagnostics report health and statistics for predictive fleet management.
