What the ZT111 is for
The ZT111 is the entry point to Zebra’s industrial printer range: the printer to choose when a desktop unit is no longer enough but you do not need the touchscreen, RFID and media-handling options of the mid-range ZT231. It keeps the things that matter on a working floor, a durable metal frame, fast print and reliable Zebra build, at a lower price by leaving off the extras. It suits steady warehouse, manufacturing and back-of-store label printing, and fits the wider labelling and barcoding and warehouse automation setups Sirap builds.
Who it is for
Maltese manufacturing, logistics and retail operations that want genuine industrial durability on a budget. If you need a colour touchscreen, RFID, a cutter or peeler, the ZT231 is the better fit; for high-volume 24/7 lines or wider media, step up to the ZT400 or ZT600. If your volumes are light, a ZD-series desktop may be all you need, and we will say so.
Easy to run
Minimal training. A simple 3-button interface with five status icons and colour-coded media loading means an operator is productive quickly, without a manual.
Drops in for a legacy printer. Backwards compatibility and built-in printer emulations let it replace an older or other-brand printer without rewriting label formats or code.
Light on IT. Zebra’s embedded software tools streamline integration, operation and supplies management, so the printer is straightforward to bring onto the network and keep running.
Built to perform and last
Zebra durability at the entry tier. A metal-frame build is made to outlast budget-brand competitors and keep printing reliably for years, which is the reason to buy industrial rather than desktop.
Fast enough for a busy line. Up to 254 mm/s (10 ips) at 203 dpi keeps labels flowing, with an optional 300 dpi for finer text and small 2D codes.
Fits a tight workspace. A compact footprint and a space-saving bi-fold door suit benches and cells where room is limited.
Plans its own maintenance. Onboard analytics, printhead element-out detection and tool-less platen and printhead removal make upkeep quick and predictable.
Grows and stays secure
Add capability later. Field-installable upgrades for wireless and advanced media handling let the printer evolve with you, protecting the initial investment, and its architecture is built to take on heavier workloads over time.
Connects flexibly. USB, USB Host, RS232 and Ethernet as standard, with Bluetooth (BLE) and NFC tap-to-pair; add a second Ethernet port or Wi-Fi 802.11ac as an option.
Secured by design. Secure Boot protects start-up, Protected Mode prevents unauthorised settings changes, and Zebra Secure Service Commands (part of PrintSecure) guard against network threats, with clean decommissioning to protect data at end of life.

What is in scope from Sirap
We confirm the right ZT111 configuration (resolution, print method, connectivity), supply it with genuine Zebra labels and ribbons matched to your substrate, set it up on your network and label software, and support it locally with service and a spare-pool option. We also tell you honestly when the ZT231 or a desktop printer is the better-value choice for your volumes.
Often paired with
- Genuine Zebra labels and ribbons matched to the printer and application.
- Zebra barcode scanners and mobile computers to read what it prints.
- An Eaton UPS for a printer on a line that cannot stop mid-label.
Which Zebra printer is right for you?
The ZT111 is the value entry to industrial printing. Add a touchscreen, RFID, cutter or peeler and you want the ZT231; run high volumes around the clock or need wider media and more durability and you want the ZT400 or ZT600; print only light volumes and a ZD desktop will do. Tell us your volume, media and environment and we will recommend honestly.
Frequently asked questions
How is the ZT111 different from the ZT231?
The ZT111 is the entry model: same metal-frame durability and media size, but a simpler 3-button interface and no RFID, cutter, peeler or colour touchscreen. The ZT231 adds those options and a slightly higher top speed. If you do not need the extras, the ZT111 gives you industrial build for less.
Can it replace our existing printer without re-coding labels?
Usually yes. It is backwards compatible with printer emulations, so it drops into most existing setups without rewriting label formats.
Does it do RFID?
No. The ZT111 has no RFID option. For UHF RFID printing and encoding, choose the ZT231R or a ZT400/ZT600 RFID model, and we will configure it for you.
